USAGE DIRECTION

Application:
Dilute the tincture with water!
Do not combine with milk!

Prophylaxis – 1 teaspoonful of tincture in the morning and at night.
Indispositions – 3 teaspoonfuls of tincture a day.
More serious diseases – 2-3 tablespoonfuls a day.

Swedish bitters – a recipe for tincture
Add 1.5 litre of 38-40% alcohol to the herbal mix.
Leave for 14 days in a warm place (approx. 25°C).
Shake the mixture every day.
After 14 days, filter and pour into dark bottles, close and store in cool places.
The tincture may be stored for several years.
Swedish bitters – compresses
Put a greasy ointment on the affected place. Moisten a piece of gauze/lignin with the tincture. Apply over the affected place, and cover with a bandage. Keep for at least 2 hours or longer (preferably, overnight).
In case of development of reddening or burning sensation, or other symptoms of allergy – remove the compress immediately.

Headaches and vertigo, fainting – smelling Swedish bitter, applying on the top of the head or compress of a piece of cloth moistened with the tincture.
Fever, shivers – give 1 tablespoonful of the tincture.
Insomnia – take 1 tablespoonful of tincture before sleep.
Rheumatic pain – apply a piece of cloth moistened with the tincture over the painful sites.
Eye clouding, reddening, inflammatory conditions, vision loss, glaucoma – delicately moisture corners of the eye with the tincture or put a linen cloth moistened with the tincture over closed eyelids. Apply a greasy cream or ointment before the procedure.
Pustules, eruptions, scabs – wipe frequently with the tincture-moistened swab.
Toothache – dilute one tablespoonful of the tincture with low volume of water, rinse your mouth holding the liquid for some time. The aching tooth may be also covered with a piece of cloth moistened with the tincture.
Pharyngitis – dilute one tablespoonful of the tincture with a low volume of water, rinse your throat three times a day.
Mild gastric complaints, intestinal problems, flatulence – take 1-3 tablespoonfuls of the tincture.
Oedemas – take 1 tablespoonful of the tincture in the morning and at night for 6, dilute with white wine.
Menstrual pain – for three days take 1 tablespoonful of the tincture in the morning, dilute with red wine.
Menstruation disorders, amenorrhoea, excessive bleeding – take the tincture for 3 days, repeat for another 20 days until the cycle is normalised.
Tapeworm – adjust dosage to the child’s age.
Jaundice – take 1 tablespoonful 3 times a day, apply compress over the swollen liver.
Tuberculosis – take doses of the tincture in the morning, on empty stomach, for 6 weeks.
Traces of smallpox, rosacea, scars, cut wounds, pierce wounds, bites and stings – frequently apply a piece of cloth moistened with the tincture over the affected site.
Calluses, lumps, spots – apply moistened swabs. Within 3 days a callus should soften or fall off, and lumps and spots will disappear.
Burns, frostbites – moisten systematically with the tincture-moistened swabs.
Hangover – taking 2 tablespoonfuls of the tincture will make you sober.
Also good for: haemorrhoids, renal pain, melancholia, depression, appetite, improvement of digestion. Support the anti-cancer therapy.
