Catuaba – an aphrodisiac, a potency drug
Catuaba – internal fragments of bark of Catuaba trees. Brasilian Catuaba is believed to be one of the strongest aphrodisiacs. In medicine it is used for stimulation of the brain function and improving blood supply. It is effective in calming nervousness, treatment of memory problems, anxiety and – most of all – sexual potency. Its additional advantage is absence of any harmful side effects, compared to popular pharmacological agents sold as potency drugs.
Brewing: approx. 1 teaspoonful of Catuaba per 250 ml of water. Boil at low heat for 5 minutes, then wait for 15 minutes until the infusion is ready. The infusion may be combined with other soft drinks.
Application: For reduced potency, the infusion should be drank in the volume of 1-2 glasses a day for 3 weeks. If necessary, the treatment may be repeated, making weekly intervals between subsequent treatments. Catuaba may be also used ad hoc. A full effect of drinking 1-2 glasses of the infusion is observed within 25 – 35 minutes, depending on individual conditions.
