Chemochlor CH tablets (10 g)
Bactericide and fungicide for disinfection of swimming pool water and water intended for human and animal consumption. (chlorine method)
USAGE DIRECTION
Approx. 7 tablets per 10 m3 of water when filling a pool, and then 2-3 tablets every 2-3 days. The dosing depends on chlorine content measurement using the DPD method: at least 0.2mg/l of free chlorine at the pool outlet. Chlorine consumption depends on numerous factors, including weather, water temperature, number of users, quality of fresh water, etc. Dosing is usually realised by adding a 3% to 6% water solution directly to the pool, through a skimmer or with a dosing device. Remember: pouring solid product directly to the pool may cause discolorations of plastics.
Tips and information:
In case of public swimming pools it is recommended to use solutions dosed from dosing tanks. A nipple of the suction valve should be positioned 10 cm over the bottom of the dosing tank, so that insoluble residues could not clog the pump or the dosing valve. Therefore the use of CH tablets is recommended, as it is much safer than gas chlorine or chlorine compounds water solution. Besides that the use of CH tablets does not cause significant pH changes.
Safety tips.
When preparing a solution, first fill a tank with water and then add CH tablets, constantly stirring. Never mix the product with acids or other chlorine products. Closely follow recommendations given in the label and the SDS of the product.
The product and its container have to be disposed of as hazardous waste.
Before using the preparation, read information provided in the label!
Chloring tablets containing approx. 70% of active chlorine.
In case of the initial filling, add approx. 70 g of the product (7 tablets) per each 10 m3 of water. Then, 20-30 g (2-3 tablets) per each 10 m3 of water every 2-3 days. Preferably dose at night, after sunset, using a dosing unit or as a solution. Control water pH and chlorine content. Recommended free chlorine concentration under 0.6 mg/L for swimming pools, and 1 mg/L for whirlpools. Recommended pH range: 7.0 – 7.4. Remove any ignition sources while dosing. Do not use open flames.
In case of water intended for drinking, the dosing procedure is the same as for swimming pools. Disinfection free chlorine level should be maintained under 0.6 mg/L. Water is suitable for drinking when free chlorine level drops below 0.3 mg/L.
After the disinfection process, pool and drinking water should meet conditions defined in the Regulation of the Minister of Heath regarding quality of water for human consumption (Journal of Laws of the year 2007, no. 61, item 417 with subsequent changes).
Warning: Dissolve tablets in a bucket, adding them to water. Do not pour water over the solid product! Do not mix with other chemicals. Mixing with other chloring products may lead to violent reactions and explosion. In case of emergency, if chlorine is released, ventilate the room until odour of chlorine disappears.
